LONDON, UK – 11 June 2020: Today, leading gin brand BOMBAY SAPPHIRE invites cocktail enthusiasts to celebrate World Gin Day and get creative with a new limited-edition BOMBAY SAPPHIRE x Print Club London ‘Cocktails and Create’ kit. Part of the global movement launched by BOMBAY SAPPHIRE to inspire creativity at home.
Available on the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE Distillery e-Shop from Saturday 13th June, the ‘Cocktails and Create’ kits are designed to offer budding artists a chance to try the increasingly popular medium of screen printing from the comfort of their homes. Artist James Daw has designed two bespoke sheets of vinyl featuring unique motifs inspired by BOMBAY SAPPHIRE and the ten exotic botanicals used in the iconic gin. Using the vinyls and a selection of colourful paints provided, owners of the kit will be able to make their own poster designs with endless creative possibilities. The perfect pastime for arty individuals and interior aficionados alike, the kit comes complete with step-by-step instructions so even complete novices can be sure to master screen printing and make a frame-worthy print. The striking posters also make for a personalized gift that’s perfect for the gin-lover in your life.
The kit includes an A4 screen printing frame, three vibrant paints and a squeegee to complete the process, as well as a 70cl bottle of Bombay Sapphire gin and a series of recipe cards to inspire cocktail creativity, allowing garden gathering hosts to get creative and impress guests with a Summer ready collection of delectable drinks.
James Daw commented: “Whilst the pace of life is slightly different for some of us at the moment, this is the perfect time to enjoy exploring your creative side. Screen printing is a lesser known art form than painting or sketching, and a lot of people might not have tried it before but there is absolutely no reason to feel intimidated by something unfamiliar. Screen printing is a brilliant way to explore a new skill, with the rewarding output of a unique piece of art”.
This “Cocktails and Create” set forms part of the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE ‘Stir Creativity at Home’ series, which was launched in March to encourage creative output whilst at home. Led by the brand’s Co-Creator network across the globe including the US, Spain, Italy and South Africa, the series comprises of masterclasses, retail exclusives, new at-home cocktail recipes from leading bartenders and the social media Create & Capture content series hosted on @BombaySapphireUK.
