Douglas Booth, Annie Doble and Guests Bring a Touch of ‘Nautical Chic’ Sytle to Ibiza as they Attend an Exclusive Partnership Showcase Presented by E1 and BOMBAY SAPPHIRE

29th May 2026: BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® invited Ibiza’s IT crowd to experience the thrill of E1, the world’s first all-electric raceboat Championship, as guests had the unique chance to get up-close to the cutting-edge E1 ‘RaceBird’ boats at a partnership showcase presented by E1 and Bombay Sapphire in the port of Ibiza Old Town.

Douglas Booth, AJ Oduda, Annie Doble (of Annie’s Ibiza) her friends Laura Castro, Kim Troxler and others – who many consider Ibizan fashion royalty - brought even more glamour to the Ibizan event which served as the latest in the series of star-studded experiences presented by E1 and Bombay Sapphire.

Annie Doble has become a fashion powerhouse over the last few years, showing her latest collection at London Fashion Week 2026. With stores in Ibiza and now in London and New York, she has long been known as a ‘vintage sourcer to the stars’, so crowned by Vogue. At the event hosted by E1 and Bombay Sapphire, Annie’s design credentials were presented in an entirely new format, as she revealed a bespoke E1 RaceBird, unveiled at the event, inspired by one of her most loved designs, The Mercer dress.

The E1 World Championship is no stranger to star power, with teams backed by big names such as Tom Brady, Lebron James, Rafa Nadal, and Will Smith – fusing entertainment, pioneering electric racing and sustainability, this latest event in Ibiza invited the star-studded crowd to get upclose to the the E1 RaceBirds, who were spotted taking selfies next to them. The event also marked the announcement of Bombay Sapphire’s new partnership with Aoki Racing Team, owned by DJ icon Steve Aoki - a mainstay of the Ibizan club scene.

While guests sipped on BOMBAY SAPPHIRE & Tonics/ BOMBAY SAPPHIRE Sparkling Lemon at chic Ibizan restaurant, ROTO, which sits in the port of Ibiza Old Town, they were able to get upclose to the E1 ‘RaceBirds’ – one with Annie’s bespoke high fashion design, alongside one in the iconic BOMBAY SAPPHIRE blue RaceBird – giving an exciting glimpse into what this exhilarating sport has to offer. Annie and friends also got the chance to mingle with E1 pilots, sit inside the cockpit of the RaceBirds, and race against each other in E1 simulators.

Bombay Sapphire and E1’s partnership brings immersive, multisensory experiences across the E1 World Championship, and this occasion in Ibiza is the perfect way to celebrate the second year of the high-profile partnership under the gin brand’s global brand platform, Step Into The Blue– which acts as an invitation for people to step into the beauty of the moment.
